William Shillilaw

William Shillilaw was martyred near to Woodhead (near Failford) by Lieutenant Lewis Lauder from Sorn Castle garrison in July 1685. He had been named on a list of wanted men by the curate from Sorn church as having fought at Drumclog or Bothwell Bridge, but as he was only eighteen years of age when he was shot this is impossible.
