The mounds are in a field to the north of the road linking Bowfield with Hartfield. They are between the Rashiefield Bridge and the turn off for Auchenbothie. There is no memorial at the location.
Muirhead Mounds
A couple of mounds to the north east of Rashiefield Bridge are traditionally associated with the Covenanters. It is said that a number of Covenanters were buried here after battle. The mounds, which appear as greener knolls in an area of rougher ground, are visible from the road linking Bowfield and Hartfield.
